Neelakshi Vidyalankara

Biography

Neelakshi Vidyalankara initially studied Philosophy at University College London before discovering her passion for photography and subsequently took a Postgraduate Diploma in Photojournalism at The London College of Printing.

Neelakshi's photography covers a wide range of sensitive issues looking at the daily lives of young Traveller women in the United Kingdom, Forced Marriage in the Asian community through to Mothers and Babies in the US Prison system, as well as portraiture.

Her photographs have been widely published in magazines and newspapers and her clients include Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Time, The Independent on Sunday Magazine, The Express Magazine,The Princes Trust, Transport for London, The Rowntree Trust and the Department of Health.
